Boston Pops, Toby Keith together for July 4 celebration
The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and Toby Keith are teaming up for an awe-inspiring performance this Independence Day for the annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.
The event will be broadcast live on CBS and hosted by The Late Late Show’s Craig Ferguson.
Boston’s Fourth of July celebration is a world-class tradition attracting hundreds of thousands of people every year from all over the country to the banks of the Charles River to see the fireworks display. Crowds jam onto the Esplanade and the Hatch Shell and Oval, all immediately adjacent to the river, to enjoy the music and festivities. It is a spectacle everyone should experience once in a lifetime!
Before the event, Boston Pops tickets are available for a ton of performances, including the “125th Pops Anniversary Celebration” at Boston’s Symphony Hall on June 19. The Boston Pops tour is scheduled to conclude on Aug. 14 with a performance on Jettie’s Beach in Nantucket, Mass.
Toby Keith continues to tour in support of his 2009 album, “American Ride.” Keith’s summer tour is scheduled to begin in New Jersey on June 19.
